Is there an AT&T University?

Hey there, I've heard about AT&T University but I'm not sure what it is exactly. Is it an actual university that I could attend after high school? Or is it more about job training? Would be grateful for some clarification!

AT&T University is not a traditional university or college that students attend for a degree after high school. It's rather a corporate educational institution established by AT&T for its employees.

The main purpose of this internal educational program is to provide ongoing professional development and leadership training for the company's employees. Typically, offerings might include everything from technical training in specific tasks to broader skills training similar to courses you might find in a business degree program, like management skills, teamwork, and communication. Some corporations also offer courses on company culture and how to succeed within the organization.

Remember, internal corporate training programs can offer significant benefits if you're an employee of the company, but they're not a substitute for an accredited university or college degree. If you're considering a career at AT&T or similar companies, earning a degree in a relevant field might be a helpful first step before you can take advantage of something like AT&T University.
