Northeastern's Early Action Acceptance Rate?

Does anyone have an idea what Northeastern's early action acceptance rate is like? Also, for those who got in via EA, did you feel it gave you an advantage? Curious if I should try for EA or RD.

While Northeastern University does not publish the specific acceptance rates for Early Action (EA), applying EA can increase your chances of acceptance compared to Regular Decision (RD). On average, applying EA can result in a 1.3x, or a 33% increase in your chances of admission. However, this effect will vary based on the individual school.

In accordance with this data, many students who were accepted via EA have shared that they did feel it gave them an advantage. Applying earlier sends a positive message to the admissions committee about your interest in that college. In case of a deferral from EA to RD, it provides you with another chance for your application to be reviewed.

As for choosing between EA and RD, it primarily comes down to your readiness. If your application is strong and complete by the EA deadline, it's advisable to apply early. However, if you feel that additional time would let you improve your application, (e.g., higher senior grades, better essays), you may prefer to opt for RD. The key is to submit the best application you can, and sometimes, that might mean waiting for the RD deadline.
