Being a part of the Xavier community is truly an amazing experience. The university's focus on supporting the personal growth and development of its students is highly commendable. Whether it is the approachable faculty, dedicated student support services, or the opportunities available for internships and research, there are many resources in place to ensure that students succeed.
One of the things I appreciate most about Xavier is the close-knit community. Students are not just numbers here; the class sizes are manageable and professors genuinely care about your progress. They are always willing to go above and beyond to assist you. In terms of academics, the course rigor is manageable, and there are a variety of programs available that allow students to explore and pursue their passions.
However, one thing to be aware of is that while there are many student organizations and clubs, the weekend social scene can sometimes feel quiet. This is mainly because many students go home for the weekend. That being said, there are still events held on campus and opportunities to get involved or hang out with friends.
In all, I'm glad I chose Xavier. It's provided me with a holistic college experience and I've made some lifelong friends along the way.
