Sure, Detroit, Michigan is home to a diverse selection of universities and colleges, all offering a wide range of programs covering multiple areas of study.

You might consider Wayne State University, a public research institution located in the heart of Detroit with robust offerings in Business, Engineering, and Nursing, among other programs. Wayne State is also known for its strong commitment to community engagement and urban revitalization.

Then there's the University of Detroit Mercy, a private Catholic university that offers programs in Business, Engineering, and Health Professions. This is a smaller college, which might appeal to you if you're looking for a more intimate, tight-knit community feel.

If you're more interested in art and design, exploring College for Creative Studies (CCS) could be beneficial as this is a private college that specializes in arts and Design Education.

Furthermore, just outside of Detroit, Oakland University and the University of Michigan's Dearborn campus might be worth considering. These universities offer a broader range of academic options, including robust Business, Engineering, and Health Science programs, among others.

Lastly, if you're interested in a liberal arts education, Kalamazoo College, located approximately two hours away and known for its K-Plan - an intentional, thoughtful approach to one's undergraduate years that combines rigorous academic work, career exploration, experiential learning, and study abroad opportunities, could be an intriguing option.

Remember, what's most important is finding a college that fits your academic and personal interests. Assess what you are looking for in your college experience, and then start researching these suggested options to find a good fit for you. Consider things like size, available majors, campus culture, and opportunities for extracurricular activities. Visiting the schools, if possible, might also be beneficial to get a feel of campus life. Good luck with your search!
