BYU's Idaho Location - Thoughts?

Hey guys! I'm considering applying to BYU, and their Idaho location is definitely on my radar. Can anyone provide some insights about studying there? How's the campus environment, both in terms of academics and student life? Thanks!

Sure, I'd be glad to share some information about BYU-Idaho! Keep in mind that it's quite different from BYU-Provo, the main and most known campus of BYU.

In terms of academics, BYU-Idaho is respected and offers a broad range of majors. The class sizes tend to be relatively small, which is great because it promotes close-knit learning environments and good relationships between students and professors.

Student life at BYU-Idaho is somewhat unique. The school places a strong emphasis on building a close community, and the campus culture is deeply instilled with the values of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, as one might expect. Ethical living, service, and spiritual growth are emphasized as important parts of the life at BYU-Idaho.

In terms of physical environment, the Rexburg location is in a quite rural setting, which can either be a pro or a con, depending on your personal preferences. Those who appreciate a quieter, more peaceful environment might enjoy it, while others might find it isolated or lacking the bustle of a larger city.

Overall, I'd say that if you value a place where your education and spirituality can be nurtured simultaneously, BYU-Idaho might be an excellent match for you. However, like with any college decision, it would be beneficial to visit the campus or at least speak to current students or alumni to see if it's a good fit for you personally.
