After submitting, can we update our Common App activities section for later applications?

I've submitted my Common App to a couple of early action schools, but I'm still working on new activities. Is it possible to add these to the application for the schools I haven't applied to yet?

Absolutely, you can update your activities section for future applications. The Common App is designed to be flexible in this way. Once you submit your application to a specific school, the information you submitted is locked in for that school. However, any schools you apply to afterwards will receive the most up-to-date version of your application.

This system allows you to add new activities, honors, or update parts of your application based on your most recent achievements or involvements. Remember, the goal is to reflect the most accurate and comprehensive picture of your high school career. So, if you've taken on new responsibilities, achieved new accolades, or started a new project that you believe will strengthen your application, definitely add them before you submit to more colleges.

Just be sure to review your application thoroughly before each submission to ensure everything is accurate and complete. For example, if you become the president of a club after submitting to your Early Action schools, that's a significant leadership role you'll want to include for the other schools. Good luck with your applications!
