Can anyone share their reviews on Suffolk University?

Hi, guys! Suffolk University is on my potential college list and I was hoping to get some honest reviews about it. I'd really appreciate hearing about the class sizes, faculty, campus environment, and any other pertinent info. Thanks a ton!

Sure, happy to share some general feedback about Suffolk University! To start with, one of the key benefits students often mention is the small class sizes. Most classes have fewer than 20-30 students which means professors can provide personalized attention and learning experiences. Students generally like the faculty and appreciate their dedication and accessibility.

The campus is quite urban, being located right in downtown Boston. This comes with benefits (plenty of off-campus food and entertainment options, internships and job opportunities, etc.) but also means there's less of a traditional "campus feel" that you'd get at a suburban or rural school. That said, Boston is a big college town and there are always activities and events happening around the city. As for social life and student activities, there's a good range of extracurriculars and student organizations you can join. From student government to newspaper or radio, there'll likely be a club or society that aligns with your interests. The student body tends to be quite diverse and international, which many students appreciate.

Academics-wise, students often praise the Business program at Suffolk, along with other programs like the Political Science and Criminal Justice. Some students also note that the school's Career Services office provides substantial support, helping with internships and post-grad opportunities. That said, like any school, Suffolk may have its few downsides. Some students may note that the school doesn't have a particularly strong sports culture, and lacking a traditional campus might be a drawback for some people. Of course, everyone's experience will be different, so it could be helpful to reach out directly to current students or alumni. You can get a feel for the school's culture, academic rigor, and social environment from people who've actually experienced it. Also, consider visiting the campus or doing a virtual tour if possible! I hope this gives you a better idea about Suffolk University. Best of luck with your decision process!
