Should I apply EA to Northeastern?

Yo, so I'm considering Northeastern as an option, but I'm not quite at the 'let me commit my life to you' stage, you know? I've heard about this EA thing and I just wanna know if it's worth pursuing. Any advice or observations about Northeastern's EA?

Northeastern University does offer an Early Action (EA) option for applications which, unlike Early Decision (ED), is non-binding. By applying EA, you submit your application earlier and receive an admissions decision earlier, typically by February. If Northeastern is high on your list, applying EA can be a great choice. It allows you to demonstrate a strong interest in the university and potentially boosts your chances of acceptance slightly. Colleges, including Northeastern, often appreciate that early applicants are displaying enthusiasm for their institution. However, do keep in mind that you should only apply EA if your application is ready and strong by the EA deadline. Applying EA doesn't mean you have a better chance of getting in with subpar grades or without your ideal SAT/ACT scores. Your application should still reflect you in the best light possible.

In the end, whether you should apply Early Action to Northeastern depends on if you feel ready to submit your application by their EA deadline and if Northeastern is one of your top choices. Best of luck!
