California Accounting Schools?

I'm seriously thinking about pursuing a major in Accounting, and I'm considering California schools. Can anyone recommend me some good ones with strong Accounting programs in California? Any help would be awesome.

Sure, California is home to quite a few schools that have well-regarded accounting programs. In no particular order, here are a few to consider:

1. University of Southern California (USC) – USC's Leventhal School of Accounting is highly rated and offers a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, as well as five-year progressive degree programs, where students earn a bachelor's and master's degree concurrently.

2. University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley) – The Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley provides a robust curriculum for prospective accounting majors, although it's worth noting that the business administration major at this school is exceptionally competitive.

3. University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) – UCLA offers a Business Economics major, where you can choose accounting as a track. This is a fiercely competitive program with strong accounting coursework.

4. Santa Clara University - The Leavey School of Business in Santa Clara University offers a comprehensive and hands-on approach to accounting education, allowing students to apply classroom theories to real-world contexts.

5. Cal Poly San Luis Obispo - Its Orfalea College of Business offers a unique Learn by Doing method in their education, making it a good choice for hands-on learners.

6. San Diego State University (SDSU) - SDSU's Charles W. Lamden School of Accountancy produces successful accountants and has strong connections to the local business community, providing ample internship opportunities.

Remember to research each one thoroughly and consider factors beyond just academic offerings, such as location, campus culture, and financial aspect. Best of luck with your college search!
