Seeking advice on online military friendly colleges

I'm looking for colleges that have strong online programs and are also notoriously military-friendly. It would be nice to have a more flexible schedule, considering my future military commitments. Any recommendations are really appreciated.

It sounds like you're seeking a careful balance between your educational and military pursuits, which is commendable. One institution that has a notable track record of being military friendly is Arizona State University. Their online program is highly regarded and they have a robust military-affiliated community, providing resources and support for service members and their families.

Another notable institution is Pennsylvania State University's (Penn State) World Campus. Penn State World Campus is known for being military friendly and offers a variety of online programs across different disciplines. Their Office of Veterans Programs provides academic, financial, and personal support services to student veterans and active duty military.

You may also want to consider University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC). UMGC was one of the first universities to create online education programs tailored to military personnel. They offer a wide selection of online undergraduate and graduate programs and have a long-standing commitment to the military.

Make sure to research each school and their programs to see which one fits best with your own academic and career goals. This can involve checking their accreditation, course schedules, and available student support. Furthermore, confirm whether they offer tuition discounts for military service members or participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program, which provides additional financial assistance beyond the standard benefits of the GI Bill. Be sure to ask about transfer credit policies for military training and experience as well.
