When does Northeastern release Early Action results?

I am planning to apply to Northeastern through Early Action. When do they usually release their decisions? Also, what should I be doing while I wait for the results?

Northeastern University commits to releasing Early Action decisions by February 15, but often releases them earlier, as they are made. In past years, decisions have come out in mid-December, but with increasing numbers of applications, that may be changing.

While waiting for the results, it's common to experience some anxiety, but try to keep yourself busy and engaged. Continue doing well in school, as maintaining your senior year grades is essential—universities may take them into account, especially if they request a mid-year report. Additionally, spend your time pursuing your interests by staying involved in your extracurricular activities, as these demonstrate your commitment and can exponentially add to your application.Remember to complete any pending applications, especially those with deadlines in January and February if you haven't already submitted applications for Regular Decision rounds in other schools. This way, you’ll continue to have plenty of options open, regardless of Northeastern's EA decision.

Lastly, take some time to relax too. The application phase can be an intense process, and while waiting gives another set of tension, it is important not to let it overwhelm you. Enjoy your senior year and the accomplishments you've made so far. Best of luck!
