Visiting Cornell's campus?

Is it worth paying a visit to Cornell's campus? I'm seriously considering applying and I'd like to know if a campus visit would give me any significant insights or advantages. Any thoughts would be awesome!

Visiting any campus, including Cornell's, can be a beneficial experience for a student considering that school. Walking through an actual campus, experiencing the community, and seeing the facilities firsthand can provide a perspective that brochures and virtual tours can't fully capture.V isiting the campus also allows you to have conversations with current students and faculty. Talking to them can provide unique insights into the campus culture, academics, housing, student support services, and other aspects of the school. These experiences can then be used to color your essays and interviews with personal anecdotes and a demonstrated understanding of the school and its culture, which might impress the admissions committee.

However, it's important to keep in mind that Cornell, like most other highly selective schools, does not consider demonstrated interest in their admissions processes. So, visiting the campus won't directly improve your chance of acceptance. Also, consider the costs of travelling to Ithaca, New York. Depending on your location, it might entail substantial travel and accommodation costs. It's beneficial, but not necessary, especially if it will place a considerable financial burden on you or your family. However, exploring the campus virtually could be a suitable alternative choice.
