Hey folks! I'm planning to apply to Johns Hopkins and I don't want to miss any important deadlines. Could anyone share the key dates for application submissions and when decisions are typically released?
Johns Hopkins University has three primary application options: Early Decision I (EDI), Early Decision II (ED II), and Regular Decision (RD).
For Early Decision I, the application deadline is November 2nd, and the decision release date is less than a month later, around mid-December.
For Early Decision II, the application submission deadline is January 4th. The results for ED II generally come out around mid-February.
The Regular Decision deadline is January 4th as well, similar to ED II, but the decision release date is quite a bit later. You can expect to receive your decision by April 1st.
Just a reminder, that if you apply under an Early Decision plan, this is binding, meaning that if you're accepted, you commit to enrolling at the university and will withdraw all other college applications. If you feel you need more time to compare schools and financial aid options, Regular Decision may be more suitable for you.
Regardless of the round, do make sure your application, including all relevant supplemental materials and letters of recommendation, are submitted by the deadline to avoid last-minute hassles. Reach out to the Johns Hopkins Admissions Office directly if you have any concerns. Good luck!
