Division 3 Athletic Scholarships

I'm a bit stressed trying to figure this out. Does Division 3 really offer athletic scholarships? Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.

While I understand the confusion, NCAA Division III colleges do not offer athletic scholarships. They strictly prohibit it. However, this doesn't mean those schools won't provide financial aid. Division III colleges offer different types of aid like academic scholarships, need-based financial aid, and grants.

So, if you have good grades, you can still benefit from academic scholarships. I highly recommend looking at other qualities of the Division III schools you're interested in, beyond athletics. Often, these schools provide a more balanced educational and athletic experience.

And, remember, you should use each school's Net Price Calculator to get an estimate of how much you might be expected to pay after financial aid. It's also important to fill out the FAFSA to see if you qualify for federal student aid.

In conclusion, while athletics may be a significant part of your college experience, remember to balance that with academics and college fit. Take a look at all the financial aid opportunities available to ensure you're making a decision that supports all your needs.
