Looking for the top colleges in Boston

Hey everyone, I'm in my junior year of high school and I've started to think a little bit about where I want to go to college. My brother currently lives in Boston and I'm really considering moving up there for college. I'd love to study something in the tech field or business. What top colleges are in Boston that offer strong programs in these areas?

Hello there! Boston is home to a number of impressive universities that are strong in business and tech fields, so you have quite a few options to consider.

1. Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT): Known worldwide for its formidable reputation in the fields of science, engineering, and technology, but MIT's Sloan School of Management is also internationally respected.

2. Harvard University: While it may be better known for its law and medical programs, Harvard also boasts strong business (Harvard Business School) and tech programs (Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences).

3. Boston University (BU): BU's Questrom School of Business is highly ranked, and the College of Engineering is great for those interested in tech.

4. Northeastern University: Known for its strong co-op program, Northeastern could provide excellent real-world experience in either tech or business.

Remember, when looking into these institutions you should consider not only the program but also the admission rates, financial aid availability, the campus environment, among other factors. All these schools are quite selective so I would also recommend having some match and safety schools in mind.

Also, keep in mind, MIT and Harvard are both need-blind and meet 100% demonstrated need for their students, while BU and Northeastern may not be as generous with financial aid. Take some time to look into these schools, visit their websites, connect with current students. This will help you get a better idea of where you'd fit best! Good luck!
