Help with UF's SSAR

Feeling a bit lost with the UF's SSAR; it's really getting on my nerves as I have to manually input all of my coursework and grades. Are there any tips or hacks to make this process less painful?

While it can seem tedious, completing SSAR accurately is essential as it gives admissions officers an in-depth look at your academic performance. Here are some suggestions to ease the process:

1. Preparation: Gather all your high school transcripts before beginning, as you'll need to enter each course you've taken during your high school career. Having transcripts readily available will make the process faster.

2. Undertake in Segments: Don't feel the need to complete the SSAR in one sitting. Work on it a bit at a time, perhaps focusing on one academic year each session. This will make the task seem less daunting.

3. Verify Course Titles & Course Numbers: Make sure to input each course exactly as it appears on your transcript. Some schools use unique identification codes for their courses, you'll need to use these exact codes to ensure accuracy.

4. Inputting Grades: For the grading scale, use the one your school uses. If your grades appear as letters, input them as such. If your school uses a plus/minus system, make sure to represent this accurately as well.

5. Listing Courses: Every course needs to be accounted for, even those that were failed, repeated, or withdrawn from. Admissions officers will get a clearer picture of your academic journey.

6. Weighted or Unweighted GPA: UF wants to see your unweighted GPA, too, so don't stress out about adding weight to your grades. Just input the grades as they appear on your transcript. SSAR will calculate the GPA for you.
