Is Lumiere Education a Scam?

I came across a program called Lumiere Education that promises to help with college admissions, but I'm not sure if it's legit or a scam. Has anyone had experience with them? What are your thoughts?

From what I can gather, Lumiere Education is a relatively new company in the college admissions consulting field. While newer organizations can certainly offer valuable services, it's always a good idea to thoroughly vet any organization you're considering using.A few things to consider are:

1. Transparency - Does the organization provide clear information about their services, pricing, staff qualifications, and success rates? If and when you contact them, are they able to answer your questions in a straightforward and understandable manner?

2. Reviews - What do previous clients say about their experiences? Check both official testimonials and third-party review sites. Of course, always approach reviews with some skepticism, as they can be manipulated.

3. Methodology - An organization should be able to clearly explain their approach to college admissions consulting. If the service promises guaranteed results or operates on a one-size-fits-all model, that's a red flag. The college admissions process is nuanced and individualized.

4. Comparison with Established Services - Compare the services, pricing, and qualifications of Lumiere Education's staff with those of well-established organizations within the same field. This can give you an idea of what is typical and help highlight any potential red flags.

While I don't see any immediate signs of Lumiere Education being a scam, their relative newness and lack of verifiable client testimonials make it tough to fully vet them with confidence. It would be a good idea to do some more research, inquire directly with them, and possibly seek out alternative services if you're not fully satisfied with the information you find.
