Info on Mitchell Hall at GWU?

Hey guys! Anyone here familiar with Mitchell Hall at George Washington University? I'm getting some conflicting info online and would love someone's personal experience or knowledge. Thanks!

Mitchell Hall is one of the several residential halls available at George Washington University (GWU). Conveniently located on GWU's campus, it sits approximately at 514 19th Street NW, which means it's quite close to the Marvin Center, Gelman Library, and a plethora of dining options.

Known for its unique architecture, Mitchell Hall is a circular-shaped building that stands out on GWU's campus. This unique shape also translates into the rooms, which are mostly single occupancy — a coveted feature among college students. This option to have a room to yourself is one reason why Mitchell Hall can be a popular choice amongst GWU students. As a result, many GWU students find Mitchell to be a very comfortable and private residence hall.

In terms of amenities, Mitchell Hall includes a laundry room and a kitchen for communal use. However, please note that the rooms do not include a private bathroom, which means residents will share communal bathroom facilities.

Mitchell Hall also fosters an active and connected community through its Hall Council. This way, you'll have plenty of opportunities to connect with others and get involved in activities organized by the council.

If you are looking for a quiet living environment or more privacy, Mitchell Hall could be a good choice for you. As with any decision related to selecting a dorm, I would recommend reaching out to current or former GWU students if possible, to get honest insights and experiences.

Again, this is just what I know about Mitchell Hall. I'd recommend visiting the Mitchell Hall page on the GWU website or contacting their housing department for the most accurate and up-to-date information. Good luck with your college journey!
