Advice for 8th graders (International Students)

Hi ! I am currently an 8th-grade student in Canada (I study in a french-speaking school). My school offers IB classes (not AP, or Honors). What should I do to get into Harvard? Thanks in advance!

Take as many APs as you can. If your school offers dual-enrollment (college classes in hs) PLEASE take those, get your associate's if you can! For extracurriculars, have a few related. I'm going for Biomedical Engineering and Mathematics, so I founded a HOSA (Future Health Professionals) chapter at my small school and won president. I'm also in FCCLA which can equate into that. Do unrelated things as well! I'm in band (4 instruments), lacrosse, art, etc. These are good for your mental health and generally mean you can balance life well, so it looks great. Overall, just try your best and you'll get there if you're physically smart enough.
