Would qualifying for USAMO, be a 1A activity, or would moving on to imo be the 1A activity

Hi @Abhinav15,

I remember you from our livestream! I'll restate my answer here - because it involves qualifying for a highly competitive, national competition I would say falls within Tier 1. Actually moving on in the competition would be a stronger Tier 1 activity, but both are impressive nonetheless.

I understand that it would be tier 1 but what letter in tier 1, also what would aime, usajmo or a high aime score be?

Honestly USAMO didn't help me much, I only got waitlisted at 2 Top 10 schools
