PSAT

PSAT/NMSQT

Hello! I'm wondering if it's actually worth taking the PSAT, considering UC schools won't even be needing SAT scores in the future.

as a junior you should be either studying for the actual sat/act or registering to take it. the psat is honestly just a glorified practice test and would have been a good idea earlier but its not worth it unless you want a test day simulation. if youre confident youre gonna get a near perfect score, youll qualify for a merit scholarship. if not, its not worth it. just take the sat or act.

Yes. It is worth it. Because if you score high enough on the PSAT, you could potentially win a National Merit scholarship. It's always worth trying for.
