GPA req

Hi,

When I try to check my chances...it always has with your background -> indicates a higher GPA than the minimum minimum.

What does it supposed to mean ...with your background 3.80 ? Is it based on the demographic and the major?

The average GPA for students with your background is 3.80. The 25th percentile is 3.75 and the 75th percentile is 3.90. "Background" here would typically mean demographic, probably not major since it would generally encompass the stats for the entire class rather than each individual major.

I agree. Your intended major isn't really part of your background, but your demographic is.
