What majors should I consider?
Answered

So...

I have no idea what I want to do with my life. I feel weird about applying as undecided to my colleges, but I am actually all over the place with the subjects I would love to study. I've always been interested in psychology, but I love writing and I think journalism would be a great major too! My parents want me to go into business, so I have considered digital communications too.

I want stability with my future career, however working in a professional office all day is not something I want to do at all. I love art and theater (sadly my parents won't let me major in any of those), but I hate math and logical stuff (although I am okay at it).

I guess what I'm asking is, any suggestions on how to make a decision or some ideas of careers I should consider?

At the end of the day, it’s what you like. You can always to Psychology with writing or journalism on the side. But, don’t pick something you don’t like, even if it means a lot of money. What do you enjoy in your free time? Think about how can you make a career out of it.

If you are not sure whether you would enjoy working in a certain career, many companies and businesses will accept unpaid/paid volunteers (internships). If you like the job and the business is impressed with your work, you might be able to secure a job with them after college. Just a thought. Hope that helps!

I would take a look at a school like Northeastern, they have a really cool program for people with an undecided major. You basically can try anything. I also would recommend searching up what people's degrees are and what they ended up working as. I was pretty shocked to find out some tbh.
