Office Assistant - is it considered a leadership role ?

Office Assistant is a similar role to Administrative Assistant. Administrative assistants possess many leadership qualities such as the ability to bind a company together and maintain its fluidity. With this, I believe colleges will think this is a leadership role, but I can see why some others do not believe that it is.
