How while this effect

Hi I'm rising senior, I did not do well in my APUSH class this year so my Guidance Counselor will not let me take Ap Gov and economics instead I will take honors. How will this effect me? I did instead double on Ap math Ap Calc and Ap Stats but will this drop from ap history to honors have effect? What should I do?

Tbh, there's nothing you can do, I myself only managed to get a C+ in Honors English 10, which forced me to take English 11 and not AP English Lang (there is no Honors in my school). How this will affect you will depend on the college and will depend on your scores. For example, Colleges will prefer you to have a B in AP than say an A in regular/honors, however if you say got a D in AP or something, you're pushing yourself a bit too much and that's not very good. If you still manage to get an A in your honors course, I'd say it won't really matter too much. Much better than getting, say a C- on an AP.

Good luck!

That shouldn't be too bad for your college application. I would, however, suggest that if you have sufficient time and determination, self-study AP Gov, as it is (making up a word -->) very self-study able. AP Micro is also easy to self-study, but it's all up to you.
