Scoring Research Internships with college professos
Im currently trying to get a research internship (public policy or politics related) with college professors but don't know the best way to approach reaching out. I understand that I need to research what the professor is working on and curate the email to their work, but I don't understand how to incentivize them to take me in. I've done some internships in the past, but nothing specifically research related. Does anyone have a certain template or guide that I can use to reach out/find professors especially for online research opportunities or any suggestions from personal experiences?
