How to learn about colleges

I found myself not knowing a lot about colleges and how colleges work, so what would be some resources that I could use to have a better understanding of what college is and how it works.

I would recommend you to create your account of Collegeboard website as well as on US news website. In the second one,, you can search for universities related to your choice and it'll also provide you costing and it's rankings.

In Collegeboard website, you can find universities as well as you can try career match, universities match and even scholarship match. It'll help you. Have a nice day :)

If you want the basics, Crash Course on YouTube has a series called "How to College"!

Great question! I felt similarly until I found resources. One of the best free resources out there is CollegeBoard. The college info section is called Big Future. Create an account and you can read tons of helpful articles, watch webinars, and take college and career quizzes. I highly recommend creating a profile on their website and reading up!
