Will i make it into state colleges?
I have a 2.7 gpa, about 13 extracurriculars and a stable arbitrage business. I am worried that i wont make my state college and am concerened because of the low gpa and extracurriuclars. What can i do as a junior to up my chances? ( i want to major in business/marketing)
1) Be involved in ECs that display your passion and interest in that career field. This is very appealing to colleges.
2) Begin writing amazing essays over the summer. The essay(s) is (are) super important to the application and it says a lot about you. It is also the 1 area of the application to really share who you are and what the admission officers may not be able to see from the rest of your application.
3) If you are unable to get a great score for SAT based on the schools' averages, then apply test optional.
