How to do Dual Enrollment?

So my high school doesn't offer dual enrollment at a CC, is there a way to go and do it myself and register?

I am a homeschool student taking DE with my local community college. You can totally go and register yourself, you just need to coordinate with your high school counselor, parents, and the admission counselor/academic advisor at the CC to work out your classes. I simply applied with my SAT scores (often need transcript, too). It really isn't that hard, especially because I chose online classes this semester. Next semester I may do a mix of in person and online. I recommend looking up your local CC's and compare their prices. Then you apply. The websites often have tons of information on what to do and how to do; my CC even had a recorded DE information session explaining all the steps.

Hope this helps and lmk if you have any questions!
