CRS OR YYAS
Answered

I applied and have been accepted to attend the 2024 Camp Rising Sun Program in New York and also the 2024 Yale Young African Scholars Program in Zimbabwe. Both of these program are happening in August. I am from and reside in Africa and I was wondering if anyone knew the better program for me to attend and which would help me during my applications to university more. Thanks.

I wish I could answer the question about which would look better on a resume, but I know someone who went to CRS in the 1980s and it was one of the best experiences of his high school years, he now donates annually to the camp because he believes deeply in the program (note that he also attended Harvard and does NOT give them money...)

Thanks for the response. I think I've decided to go for CRS.

I've heard really good things about YYAS, so I'd say that one since you live in Africa too
