am i screwing myself over?

nearly every university i'm looking at is 30+ minutes away from a roller derby league that would accept me and basing my choices on ones that aren't is really killing the number of options i have (i'm down to 2. 2!)

i've put so much time and money (and wrecked my thumb lol) into roller derby and i really don't want to give it up but this feels kinda stupid. any advice?

I don't think its stupid at all! Wanting to keep a hobby is perfectly reasonable. If it is that important, maybe broaden the scope of your search to be inclusive of all the ones that have leagues? (I'm assuming here so I apologize if i'm wrong). However, if the options you've found would be losing out on academic/athletic/ect benefits that other schools would have and outweigh the benefit of being near a league, I would recommend refocusing to those options. Hope this helps!

No! Im doing the same thing with ballet, and i put my need to go to a school into the ai chatbot (ivy/sage idk) and it actually gave some great options i’d never considered!
