i got suspended freshman year, how cooked are my chances for t20s next year?
wait colleges look at that? it's over
Then im cooked
It depends what its for, you might be able to get into a state school, but definitely not a t20 school.
really do you have like proof or something
It really depends what its for. if its serious, than it might eliminate you from a t20 school, however if its not it might not. You can look at this article right here:
edlaw4students.com/do-school-suspensions-really-crush-college-admission-chances/#:~:text=It%20is%20possible%20a%20suspension,and%20other%20students%20across%20California.
I just shoved my friend but my nose has been clean ever since
If you’ve been on good behavior otherwise, Dw about it.
i think it depends on what u were suspended for lowk
I think if you go to community college, and then transfer to a T20 college (ofc, after checking out their own transfer policy and transfer admissions process)
so you won't be as cooked. ik CommonApp allows you to explain what you got suspended for, and there you can explain whatever you did was an innocent accident or something like that.
what if i just dont list it
you're going to get into double trouble for that. It's straight up lying, and the college admissions counselors would be disappointed in your application if it isn't 100% truthful nor accurate.
what if i just ask my school to not tell about it so how would they find out
no school is going to lie like that to colleges. that's going to get your entire school administration in trouble.
What if it’s just not on the record
if you were suspended, ofc it's going to permanently stay on your school record. you can't remove it or anything like that.
