Chances at NCAT? Nursing Major w/ 3.9 GPA+Internships!

Hi guys! I’m a rising junior, Class of 2027, with a 3.9 GPA, and I’m super passionate about nursing — my dream is to get into North Carolina A&T State University (GO AGGIES! 💙💛). I’m involved in Beta Club, HOSA, and NSHSS, and I’ve done internships every summer since 8th grade, at a Dog boarding/ grooming business, a nursing home, and this summer, at the soup kitchen.

This year Iḿ taking Honors English III, Honors Anatomy and Physiology, Honors American History, Math 3, Health Science 2, and a college-level General Psychology course.

I’m aiming to apply test-optional, but wanted to get some real talk on my chances. Are my grades and extracurriculars competitive enough to get me into NCAT’s nursing program or the school in general? What else can I do to make sure I’m a strong applicant? And what can I do now (Junior year) to boost my chances?
