IB application help?

Really need help! I’m an IB student (beginning the 12th grade in September) in Canada. How can I apply as an IB student without grades (I take my 3 HLs and 2 SLs in M26 - took chem SL in M25) or even predicted grades? Any reccs for universities that recognize IB? Or should I apply with weighted class grades. Should I take SAT? ACT? Is it too late? Also am fine with sharing more info if necessary

Thanks!

Hey! I attend a high school in the US with an IB program. None of the universities expect you to have final IB exams by the time you submit your applications. When you apply in Fall 2025 you should receive predicted grades from your teachers (if they havent given them to you yet). You should be sending your weighted and unweighted transcript for applications regardless of predicted IB grades. Regarding standardized testing (ACT and SAT), many schools have gone back to requiring tests after the passage of COVID, so I'd get on that as soon as I could. However, there is definitely a mix between test optional schools, in which you will not be required to submit a test (unless you believe they will help your application), and mandatory testing schools. Many selective schools in the US will recognize IB credits, some will allow you to skip over a semester of introductory courses and some will only grant you graduation credits (still requiring you to take all mandatory classes). Some colleges that I personally am interested in applying to are Georgetown, Brown, Yale, Johns Hopkins, all of which accept IB credits in some form. There are also many international schools that will accept IB credits (Oxford, McGill, Edinburgh).
