extracurriculars

Hi! I'm a rising junior with very solid extracurriculars this upcoming year (clubs, volunteering, passion project, etc.), but was wondering if my admissions rates will be very negatively impacted if I didn't have many ECs freshman and sophomore year? I had pretty much nothing freshman year, and 2 clubs sophomore year. I'm not looking to get into any crazy Ivies, but rather state universities with a 40-60% acceptance rate.

Hey! I personally am in the same situation you are in, I would say the past is in the past, the best you can do is make the most out of junior and senior yr! good luck!

Hey! I'm in the same boat too. 40-60% acceptance rate should be fine for you if your grades and tests are good. If you're applying to schools with a holistic application process, focus on essays, rec letters, and grades. You also have plenty of ECs already, so don't fret.
