SATs and Tests in General

Trying to get into Cal Poly to play volleyball and possibly get a PhD. I currently retain a 4.57 GPA at a challenging private school and am on a club volleyball team that is 11th in the country. However, I am not a very good test-taker. I know Cal Poly is test-blind, but there are other colleges, such as Auburn University (which I am also interested in), that require an SAT. What should I do to study for it?

Maybe there are some accommodations your school can set in place for you? Or do some tricks to remember study material, such as acting like you're a teacher, teaching your pets or stuffed animals or imaginary audience the material you're trying to study.
