Where to find good Scholarship Opportunities?

I scored low on the PSAT so I missed out on the NMSQT Scholarship. I am looking for other good scholarships I could win. I don't think I qualify for financial aid so I will need scholarships to cover a portion of my college fees. I've heard that some scholarships are offered based on SAT scores. Without being too specific, I got a 1450+ on my SAT. Does anyone know of any good scholarships that will help pay for college (in state and out of state)? Where do I find these scholarships and what should I keep in mind about them? Also, when is the right time to start looking for and applying to them? Thank you!
