Aeronautical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering?

I have a deep passion for both. I know a bit more about aeronautical engineering, and it was my first choice for a while, but then I started to get really interested in aerospace engineering too, and now I'm split between the two. For a bit I thought I could get around to doing both, but that would take an insane amount of time to master both and I'd like to get into my field as soon as possible.

Aerospace includes aeronautical. It is an popular myth that aerospace is only about spacecraft. Aerospace is divided into aeronautical and astronautical engineering. I would strongly advice going for Aerospace as a degree...and then you can specialize.

My thought would initially be aerospace engineering, but don't feel like my opinion matters at all. It's all about what you feel most excited about studying in college and doing in your future career. Look up some stats, like need for positions or mean salary nationwide. That might give you a more practical angle of the choice.
