Major/school suggestions, anyone?
Answered

Hi, I currently don't know what majors I should take, but I have a few careers in mind. I already have a pretty good college list, and I have OK academics.

I don't take any APs or Honors, but I do a lot of extracurriculars like: flag football, basketball, track and XC, but I'm looking to get scouted for track. I also am a part of the NAMI Mental Health Club, LGBTQ+ Affinity, and I have a lot of volunteer hours.

Some career ideas I have in mind are: Music Journalist, Music Manager, A&R Coordinator, Screenwriter, Producer, Firefighter, Forensic Investigator and Esthetician.

I know that it is a lot of variety, but I tend to lean more on the creative side. I want to be realistic, and don't want to major in anything I'm not going to have a good career sucsess in. I'm very good at writing, and coming up with ideas, but don't really know what I should pick based on my skill set. Also located in CA!! 😜

While I don't have any specific school suggestions, you could look into schools that let you make custom degrees. In regards to a degree, the A&R seems like it would fit you, maybe HR, if you're into people management, and Marketing, if you like business. Especially if you're attending in-state or just a less selective school, it should be easy to get in.
