AP Self Study
Answered

I am taking AP Lit right now and I'm thinking about self-studying AP Calc AB and AP Psych. My major is engineering, I took AP CSP to know how AP exams are. Should I self study AP Calc AB and AP Psych? Also should I take more AP's?

Depending on how many extracurriculars you have right now, self studying can be pretty tricky. Taking in person classes is usually the best bet, especially for a hard class like calculus. If this isn't an option, then self studying is doable. There are a lot of good resources (khan academy, test prep books like Barron's or the Princeton Review, Youtube videos) but I would keep in mind that it takes a lot of self-discipline and good scheduling to prepare properly. AP Psych is generally considered an easier course though, so it might be more doable. My main suggestion would be to create a study schedule and try it out to see if you can manage, and then sign up for the test if you think you can handle it.

Personally, I would self-study because it would be at my own pace, and I could use a bunch of resources that teachers don't typically offer. One good resource that I have found is Khan Academy. It is one guy who created the entire website. He offers personalized lessons, and it's all at your own pace. Self-study, as I said, in my opinion, would be the better option.
