Hi! Im also a junior, but I can try to speak off of more personal experiences. I know many people who have struggled - ESPECIALLY during junior year. With the pressure of SATs, ACTs, and College Applications, things can get really difficult and stressful.

My advice would be to slow down - stop and take a breather. When under stress, humans naturally tend to rush or overthink. I used to find myself constantly stressed until I learned to slow down.

After you calm down - I would start by assessing the damage. Starting junior year with a 3.4 GPA, still gives you an opportunity to raise your gpa to at least a 3.7. Dont overpile on classes, because you might fall behind again. My biggest advice that I hope you take on, is to ask for help when needed. If your struggling in class - don't feel embarrassed to ask questions. If your worried about admissions, I would recommend starting a passion project- writing research articles, or submerging yourself in different experience in which you can take away moments from.

I really hope this helps - wish you the best of luck! Although the process may be difficult, the result is worth it :)
