Paying for College

paying for college
Answered

the thing that worries me most about college is affording it. i have mostly 'affordable' schools on my list, however I do know everything (tuition, books/supplies, dorm fees, etc) all stack up. everyone just says 'scholarships,' but I'm not sure how or where to get those. also with scholarships, i don't have the best GPA and I'm not part of a minority. I'm going to get a job this summer, but even then I won't make enough to cover college. My parents can't pay anything, either. tips?

I was worrying about the same thing (mostly because my dream school is 60,000 a year 🫠) but it really helped me to finish putting in the financial information on my profile so you can see a more accurate financial aid projection. (My dream school went from 60,000 to 20,000 which is still insane, but definitely more doable) From there I would recommend finding anything specific about yourself or your education career and google scholarships/grants specific to that. For example I’m homeschooled so I looked up homeschool scholarships/grants. I hope that helps because that’s something that really stresses me out as well.
