Paying for College

UC Schools

I really want to go to a UC School because I heard that their programs are really top notch and I feel like I have a good chance at getting into a few campuses. But the out-of-state tuition is really high and I was wondering if there are any UC specific ways to tackle that. If any current UC students could reply that would be great. Does the UC system typically help a lot when it comes to funds? Do they have a lot of available scholarships? Are the schools worth the tuition, in your opinion?

Thanks

Hello! Researching scholarships and grants for the specific university is your best bet. Most universities, including the UC Schools, offer different scholarships for test scores and overall classroom performance. Grants are also given to help aid students in paying for school. Depending on which UC school you are looking at is dependent on how helpful they are with tuition. They are all different and it would just take a bit of research! Hope this helps!
