CSS Profile Application
Answered

I'm trying to fill out the CSS profile but I don't know where to start. My household is 3 people and my mom was never married to my dad. My dad does not live with us either. How do I fill out my dad's information on the CSS profile? Is there a walkthrough somewhere on how to fill out the CSS profile?

Hey there,

I believe you can say your parents are "divorced/never married" when filling the profile, or just choose not to report your dad's information.

You can also request to waive the filling of CSS Profile by either of your parents (probably your dad in that case). Here is the form: https://cssprofile.collegeboard.org/media/pdf/css-profile-waiver-request-non-custodial-parent.pdf

If anything, you can email the CSS Profile support or look at their FAQs page.

Good luck!
