Paying for college?

I'm a high school athlete looking to get recruited for wrestling. I have a GPA of 3.85 with no AP/Honors classes. I scored 1140 on the SAT, I haven't taken the ACT. I was just wondering where is the best place to look for scholarships? How much money does being an athlete contribute to school? (I'm looking at D2 colleges). Will my grades contribute to any money? I'm a first gen college student so I'm very new to all of this. Any help or suggestions would be great. Thanks!

Being a first gen student is really great, there is lots of college scholarships opportunities for you specifically for first gen students. Make sure to join NCSA so you can better your chances of getting recruited. Bold.org is a good website for scholarships. Money really doesn't apply to being an athlete unless you're scouted by college coaches or you reach out and get recruited
