Paying for College

Scholarships
Answered

I’m sixteen years old in my sophomore year in highschool and I was wondering about scholarships that would help pay for my college expenses. I have one parent working making less then 60,000 a year and I have no income coming in for myself yet but if there was a program or scholarship that could help please let me know!

There are a lot of scholarships available to help students like you pay for college expenses. You may want to start by looking at scholarships offered by the colleges you are interested in attending. There are also many national scholarships available that are not specific to any one college. Some of these scholarships are based on academic achievement, while others are based on financial need. You should also look into federal and state financial aid programs, such as the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which can help you pay for college. I recommend that you do some research and talk to your school's guidance counselor to see what options are available to you. Good luck!
