Public Pre-med schools

I am planning on applying to a school SCEA, and it allows me to apply to public schools, so I am curious what would be considered some good pre-med public schools (financial aid and location are not that important for me right now though some merit aid possibilities are nice).

Indiana University would be good and they offer good merit to instate and OOS students. Plus they have one of the largest medical schools in the country.

I think it really depends on what your scores are like. If you are in the 34-36 range, I would definitely suggest California Public Schools like UBerkeley, USC, UCLA and also University of Michigan Ann Arbor. Both are generally expensive but most tend to give scholarships to qualified applicants. Hope this helps!

Okay, thank you! I did not take the ACT (I assume that is that 34-36), but I got a 1500+ on the SAT, so I will consider those. Thanks again.

That’s a great score. You should definitely be in the range for those schools. Another thing to remember is that you’re going to do great no matter where you end up. Don’t over stress about the college application process as it may lead you to miss out on fully enjoying your senior year!
