Is SCAD worth it?

SCAD has always been my first thought when I think about applying to colleges, but my mom came up with a good point of how expensive it is. I do have some ideas on how I could save up, but I wonder if there´s a less expensive college that´s just as good as SCAD. I appreciate any response!

SCAD's location is really nice, and i know friends who went there for animation. If you prioritize college experience, then SCAD is a good school. In the end, money is important, so just see if there are any other financial aid options :)

I considered SCAD for a while for Fashion Merchandising and really liked it. I actually took a pre-college program there which made me like it even more. Although was turned off by the high suicide rate. Some other colleges I'm considering are Moore College, Pratt, Fashion Institute of Technology, Columbia College Chicago, and Thomas Jefferson University. I don't know what your major is but hope this helped!
