I am debating between going into a STEM career and going into a design career (ex. architecture)

Which do you think would be the better option for me? I am generally strong in math, science, and design, so I am having trouble deciding which would be the better option in the long run.

What do you enjoy more? I chose Design major because you mentioned becoming a architect. (Or maybe you just really like architecture.) The science and technology still go hand in hand no matter where you go. Just make sure that you really enjoy this and have a passion for it.

Good luck to you!

I was in your position too, actually between an Engineering/Architecture degree and an Equine Science degree. It matters more of what you truly enjoy and see yourself doing long-term. That's how I made my decision. If you can't make a decision that way, there is no harm where when in college you have one of your two-degree options as your declared major, but taking classes that allow you to experience both degree options. Or you could go in as a double major with both possibilities of what you want to do, and if you truly enjoy both, you would get a degree in both if you find you enjoy one more than the other, then you drop the other major.

You should choose your career depending on whether you like it and think you will enjoy doing it, however stem is the career of the future that will provide you with more opportunities and income.
