Colleges for Bioengineering/Neuroscience focus

Hi! I'm a current high school student with a strong focus in bioengineering and neuroscience. I am conducting independent research on CRISPR and Huntington's disease, and have a very strong extracurricular/academic profile. I am struggling to find colleges simply through articles, so I was hoping for some suggestions. Here are my top wants in a college:

- Strong program for biology and/or neuroscience

- Oppurtunities for undergrads to conduct research

- Well-rounded college experience

- No religious affiliation

I have a resume that could potentially get me into top schools, so schools with any admissions difficulty are good. I mainly just want to further myself through a good college education, while still living life and really experiencing college.

Here are some colleges that meet the criteria that you are looking for (listed in no particular order). They all foster the world's most cutting-edge research in CRISPR and Huntington's disease - if you Google each college name and then one of those two key words, you will find more information about professors, majors, and research opportunities that would be a good fit for you:

1. Harvard University

2. UC Berkeley

3. Princeton University

4. Cornell College

5. Stanford University

6. NC State University

7. University of Iowa

8. University of Pennsylvania

9. John's Hopkins University

10. Boston University

11. Columbia University

Hope this helps!
